About Ingolstadt West
Michael Rooney started his professional career as an ASE Certified Master Technician in 1978. Soon thereafter he became a Porsche and Audi Master Technician heading the service department at Rusnak Porsche Audi in Westlake Village California. While the garage was under his management it was ranked #1 Service Facility in the Western United States. He is the winner of the first Audi Technician Challenge for the Western Pacific Region and one time employee of Audi AG. Michael participated in the development of the Audi 80 and 90 during the late 1980’s. In 1989 he started Ingolstadt West as a mobile Audi specialist. Demand for his services grew rapidly and he soon opened his permanent garage. Michael is a Quattro Club Magazine contributor and considered an authority on Audi automobiles. |
